Bewitched (WEKquaneze) Hybrid Tea, Lammerts, 1967
(Queen Elizabeth x Tawny Gold)Date Planted: 5/2000 Source: Potted J&P, local nursery Exposure: Full sun until late afternoon
I've wanted this one for a long
time - every single picture I've ever seen was beautiful. Well, I love it! The blooms are huge and very fragrant, with a strong spicy-sweet scent. It is a healthy, happy rose.
The plant isn't very pretty - typical bolt-upright homely Hybrid Tea growth, but I grow this one for the flowers. I even forgive it it's
candy-pink color - for some reason it looks good on this rose. Maybe it's the ruffled petals. To see more photos, visit the Photo Gallery! Return to Hybrid Tea Roses |
