The climbing sport of the diminuitive polyantha by the same name, 'Clothilde soupert,
Cl.' is an adorable rose. Very round, very double flowers of Victorian perfection, pale blush with a lilac-pink heart, in fat clusters of intense fragrance. This is a somewhat lofty rose,
although it isn't as vigorous as many and isn't in a hurry to outgrow its support. It does have an unfortunate tendency to ball and mildew is a problem during cool, wet springs but the summer
blooms make it all worth while.
