Crépuscule (means 'twilight')
Tea-Noisette; Debreuil, 1904 Date Planted: Potted March 18, 1999 Source: Rooted cutting Exposure: Morning and filtered afternoon
Although classified as an apricot
blend, this rose is actually more of a golden-orange fading to apricot. The color is a bit variable, sometimes showing quite a bit of pink. Deliciously fragrant blooms are repeated with a frequency that puts many
modern climbers to shame. Vigorous but not heavily caned, this rose is experiencing something of a renaissance in today's gardens.
I am growing this rose on my front arbor, across from the equally lovely Jaune Desprez. Click for enlarged image
