Duchess of Sutherland
Hybrid Perpetual; Jean Laffay, 1839

Date Planted: May 2002
Source: Trade
Exposure: Full sun

This gal is one vigorous rose! I fell in love as soon as I saw the first bloom, and the fragrance sealed it. It does get some blackspot but it's vigor isn't hampered by it.

Planted in May 2003, it reached 4' tall by September, with many new basal canes. Healthy, vigorous and fragrant - I'm expecting good things from this rose!
