Exposure:  South and West

I fell in love with the photo of this rose in the Wayside Gardens catalog, so when I found it on the Home Base closeout table for $1.99 I jumped on it (actually, I bought two of them!)  I planted them on one side of my front porch, and they are among the healthiest plants in my garden. I don't recall ever seeing any blackspot or mildew on this rose!

There is some confusion surrounding this rose, since their is an earlier rose of the same name.  There has been much criticism levied toward this rose for its stingy rebloom, but I have not found that to be the case. Granted, the initial bloom is the height of this rose's season, but it does rebloom... and the initial show is so spectacular that I can easily overlook the relatively sparce repeat.
