Gloire de Dijon Tea-Noisette; Jacotat, 1853Date Planted: May 2003, large pot Source: Uncommon Rose
I've lusted after this rose for years and am thrilled to have finally added it to my collection. I will grow this one on a tall pillar and let it weep over from the top.
The blooms are absolutely gorgeous, and smell every bit as good as they looks! The spring blooms are much more yellow than in the summer - I like both colors, though. If it blooms this well as a youngster in a pot, I
can't wait to see what it does when it's mature - WOW!!! August 2003: I've finally given it a piece of prime real estate on my chain link fence, between Casino and Celine Forestier.
