Gruss an Aachen
(Hybrid Perpetual 'Frau Karl Druschki'/Hybrid Tea 'Franz Deegen')  F. Geduldig, 1909

Date Planted:  June 2001
Source:
Uncommon Rose
Exposure:  Full sun all day

This is a wonderful rose, and as representative of the ideal 'English' rose as any.  David Austin includes it among his English Roses due to it's color, growth formation and old rose bloom characteristics.  The flowers are perfectly cupped, of a lovely pearly pink that fades to creamy white, with a deliciously potent fragrance.  It is  a tough, disease resistant little rose of approx. 3'x3'.
