Iceberg (KORbin) 'Schneewittchen', 'Fee des Neiges'
Floribunda; ('Robin Hood' x 'Virgo') Kordes, 1958Date Planted: April 5, 1997 Source: Cheapo $2 gallon rose
Home Depot Exposure: Full sun all day
This was supposed to be Sunsprite, but was obviously
mislabeled. The 3" blooms are creamy white with a touch of yellow in the center. The fully open blooms display lovely yellow stamens. This rose frequently blushes just the slightest bit pink
in cool weather and acquires a few extra petals, acquiring a rather old-rose appearance. It is softly fragrant, although I can only smell it in fully open blooms.
This is a great little rose. It grows quickly and blooms remarkably well. The foliage is small, light green and papery. It is a very shrubby plant, with lots of thin, arching stems.
Very few thorns, mostly near the bottom of the canes. It is a very attractive little shrub! No disease problems other than a handful of black spotted leaves. To see more photos, visit the Photo Gallery! Return to Floribundas
