Lady Hillingdon
Tea; Lowe & Shawyer, 1910

Date Planted: June 2001
Source: Mail Order
Exposure: Full sun

'Lady Hillingdon' is one of the most popular of the Tea roses, and for good reason - she's an absolute stunner! The color is a stupendous warm apricot to cream and almost appears lit from within. The fragrance is wonderful too. The growth is dense and twiddy, as with most members of the Tea rose class, and the foliage is quite healthy without spraying.

This rose is an absolute bloom machine! It's taken her a while to settle in, but she's taking off in her third year and I expect good things in the future.

The red rose photographed with Lady Hillingdon is Scarlet Moss (see thumbnail images below.)
