Popcorn
Miniature; Dr. Denison Morey, 1973

Date Planted: Summer 2003
Source: Mail Order

Although classified as a miniature, 'Popcorn'  can be treated as a Polyantha or small shrub rose in the garden. The 2' to 3' plant is almost constantly covered with large clusters of single white flowers, packing a lot of punch into a small space. Terrific for the front of the border or in a container.

The foliage is abundant, healthy and a lovely fresh green. The plant is quite vigorous, with a really nice dense, shrubby habit. It's an attractive plant in its own right, even during the short spells when it's not in bloom. This is really an outstanding garden rose!
