Carolyn Watson: Royal RosesWhat's New at Mylife.Net

September 25, 2003: Added roughly a squillion new rose photos to the Photo Gallery.

September 2, 2003: I've fianlly purchased a better digital camera and have been snapping pics like a mad woman. I've added a new site section to showcase my rose pics (and various other urban wildlife.)  Lots of updates in progress.

May 22, 2003: After far, far too long, I've made some much-needed updates and revisions. I've updated the Roses section to reflect what I am actually growing now (although it will take a while before I can get to the Diagram.) I've also pulled a few sections that, frankly, don't resonate so much with my life as I now live it and take up hosting space. My life revolves around my roses now that I've gone into the own-root rose nursery biz (www.vintagebloomers.com) and I needed to free up some space on my web server. I hope you find the changes to the site positive, and enjoy your visit.

November 13, 2002: I've moved this site to my new domain at www.vintagebloomers.com and am planning site revisions. My life has changed (selling my roses on eBay has changed lots of things in my life!) and I want this site to reflect those changes. I've also acquired a lot of new roses and shovel-pruned some others.

June 2002: I've began revising the Roses section; new photos, additions, subtractions, more information, etc.

October 5, 2001: I've added an interactive full-color property diagram of the roses I have growing in my yard.

I've added over 100 new roses this year!  Take a look at the alphabetical list.September 26, 2001

Dear Visitor,

As you can see, it's been a long time since the last update.  I've spent well over a year in "Web Hosting Hell" - with a Hosting provider who was unwilling to take the time to work with Network Solutions to get my domain, blueorca.com, to point to my location on the web.  I am with a new Hosting provider now who has taken the time to get this back up again.  My eternal thanks to Kelly at Digital Honeycomb.

As you can see, I've redesigned this entire site, and added loads of content to the Roses section.  It should be easier to navigate now - please let me know whether you like the changes when you sign the guestbook.  The HiHium section is moving to it's own domain; www.hihiumlake.com.

What have I been up to?  Well, the biggest positive change in my life is finding my soulmate.  I have divorced and remarried during my time in Hosting Hell.  My new husband, Neal Delargy, is a professional "Wine Guy", which also happens to be his long-standing nickname.  We've been good friends for years, meeting at his wine shop, Freighthouse Cellars (now closed, sadly) about five years ago... and after Tim and I split up we began to look at each other with new eyes.

My former husband Tim, who built the lovely boat featured on this site, is still a big part of my life.  Not just because of our son Taylor, who he spends weekends with, but because we are forging a friendship.  We had an amicable divorce - I never have understood why people are usually so damned nasty to each other when they split up.    He and Neal like and respect each other, which certainly makes things much easier all the way around.  Ah... life is good.

Neal and his two kids moved in with me and my son, although his kids are now living with their mother so they can attend school in Puyallup.  Some may call me crazy, but we're very happy.  My son always wanted siblings.  Ha ha - be careful what you wish for, kiddo!

Now that I've moved my site to a new hosting server (the old place really sucked) I've also been very busy working - Blue Orca Graphic Design is beginning to flourish. (Note: I've since sold the blueorca.com domain.)

Robin is back... and she's painting the world in colors of her own choosing.

Thank you, loyal visitors, for your patience over the last difficult months.

Best Wishes,
Robin Lowe Delargy
